About Marshall Faulk
Following a phenomenal college football career at San Diego State University, Marshal Faulk was drafted into the NFL second overall in 1994 by the Indianapolis Colts and immediately exploded onto the NFL landscape. Faulk became the first NFL player to win both the Offensive Rookie of the Year Award and the Pro Bowl’s Most Valuable Player Award in the same season. Faulk joined the St. Louis Rams in 1998 where he was twice named NFL Most Valuable Player (2000, 2001) and earned a Super Bowl ring in 2000. Faulk currently ranks 10th all-time in NFL career rushing yards and remains the only NFL player to rush for 12,000 yards and record 6,000 receiving yards. After retiring from the NFL following the 2006 season, Faulk embarked on a career in broadcasting where he will enter his fifth season this fall as an analyst for the NFL Network. Faulk appears regularly on a number of the network’s programs including NFL Total Access, Thursday Night Kickoff Presented by Sears, Sprint Halftime Show, Kay Jewelers Postgame show and NFL Game Day Morning show.
